Nowadays mushroom growing is spreading in all talukas, towns in sangli.  Sangli is located nearby kolhapur district and part of its such as jaysingpur. The distance between jaysingpur and sangli is 8 kms which takes 15-20 minutes. Some of mushroom farmers are now based in these talukas- Miraj, Walwa, Jat, Tasgaon, Khanapur, (Vita), Palus, Shirala,    Kavathemahankal,  Kadegaon, Atpadi. Now around 48 mushroom farmers are there.  Mushroom business growing in region as awareness and interest of local people is rapidly growing. Mushroom learning Center Kolhapur is playing key role in mushroom promotion in local region. It conducts weekend mushroom cultivation trainings at our mushroom farm. It is also acting as mushroom supplier , mushroom spawn supplier and other mushroom related services.
