Mushroom Soup Recipe For Diabetics 


  • 200 g of button mushroom 
  • 2 cup water 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 cup low-fat milk 
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour 
  • 10 g butter/olive oil or preferred oil 
  • 2-3 chopped spring onion 


  • Properly wash the mushrooms and slice them. 
  • In a heated pan, add butter, spring onion, and mushrooms. 
  • Mix it well for 1 minute. 
  • Add water and wheat flour and let the mixture boil for 5-6 minutes. 
  • Remove the mixture from the flame and let it cool completely Blend mushrooms with low-fat milk until it becomes smooth. 
  • Pour the mixture into the same pan, add salt and 1 cup of water and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. 
  • Keep stirring the mixture. 
  • Serve the soup hot.
