REISHI MUSHROOM ANTIOXIDANT PROPERTIES

What is aging? How does it happen? How do we get dull-looking skin?

The book “Evolutionary Biology of Aging,” defines it as “a persistent decline in the age-specific fitness components of an organism due to internal physiological deterioration.” This deterioration happens when both due to extrinsic and intrinsic factors, free radicals attack skin cells trying to attach themselves to a healthy cell.

1. Slows Down Premature Ageing:

The Ling Zhi 8-protein and Ganodermic acid present in Reishi are rich anti-inflammatories and anti-allergenic agents. Both these ingredients work in harmony, empowering the immune system, and promoting blood circulation. A stronger immune system, in turn, eases free radical activities, which means your wrinkles, fine lines, and inflammations reduce. Improved blood circulation improves the elasticity and tone of your skin, slowing down the aging process, leaving you with clear and younger-looking skin.

2. Eases Skin Problems:

Various studies conducted on these mushrooms indicate that they possess the ability to cure various external skin issues, such as wounds, sunburns, rashes, and insect bites. And how does this happen? A harmonized functioning of its anti-histaminic, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-allergenic properties – when the combination starts working, your immunity peps up, blood circulation improves, and healing begins.

3. BOOST DETOX PROCESS:

The reishi mushrooms benefits for skin are supported by their natural detoxification properties that may help cleanse your body and ultimately your skin (remember, the health of your skin starts on the inside).

In fact, they may improve liver detox and function - this also promotes healthy skin, as the liver manages body fat and eliminates toxins (bye pimples!) This is part of the reishi mushroom benefits for skin; a healthy liver is shiny skin.

Considering they’re not super tasty to chew, one of the best ways to consume them and get the reishi mushrooms benefits for skin is to get them in extract form, and mixed with other antioxidant-rich foods.
