Milky mushroom, otherwise known as summer mushroom, is a long sized, white, and attractive mushroom of India. Milky Mushroom can be grown in the temperature range of 250 - 400C. However, for best yields, 250 - 350C is necessary. Hence, this mushroom can be cultivated from the month of March to October in major states of India.  During the summer months, it may be necessary to bring down the temperature and to improve the relative humidity for obtaining higher yields. Atmospheric relative humidity should be in the range of 80 – 85 %. Under low humidity, young fruit bodies dry up or the upper surface of the mushroom becomes rough. During fruiting, low light(200 lux) is necessary. However, during the mycelium growth period, the light requirement is still minimal. Wild enoki bears very little resemblance to cultivated forms.  They grow on rotting wood, especially dead elms in woodland settings.  Wild enoki has small brown caps and form clusters. The first step to growing enoki mushrooms is to find a spawn and growing medium. The growing medium can also be aged hardwood sawdust. Next, select glass containers and sterilize them. Mix the spawn into the medium thoroughly. Fill the bottle with medium and store them where temperatures are 72-77 degrees F. For spawn substrate, H. tessulatus inoculated in black beans, green monggo beans, and green peas promoted the most abundant mycelia run.  Ground corn and sorghum grains gave the fastest but thinner growth. In terms of mushroom cultivation, the king oyster mushroom can be cultivated on cellulose-rich substrates like sugar cane mulch, straw, and corn cob King oyster grows best on supplemented hardwood sawdust in autoclavable grow bags. King oyster mushroom is considered as the best one of all Pleurotus species due to its excellent culinary properties and longest shelf life than any other oyster mushroom. It has a pleasant aroma of almond and a taste of Abalone. This mushroom has been successfully cultivated in District Solapur (Maharashtra) and the cultivator is Sagar Patil. during January 2017 - March 2017. Wheat straw was used as a substrate for growing this mushroom.  It was washed in fresh water and then pasteurized in the solution of Formaldehyde (500ppm) and Bavistin (75ppm)for 18 hours.  On the following day, it was spread over a clean and inclined cemented floor to drain off excess water.
