The pink oyster mushroom (pleurotus djamor) is a strikingly unforgettable, edible fungi in the family Pleurotaceae. 

Pink oyster mushrooms will grow on a wide range of materials including sugar cane mulch, straw, hardwood, paper, and coffee grounds.





In order to grow, a pink oyster mushroom grows kits will need to be opened exposing the fully colonized substrate to fresh air and humidity.

Pink oyster mushroom mycelium is incredibly vigorous. Initially, it is finer in appearance and structure than a white oyster. Pink oyster mycelium is slightly translucent and will turn more opaque as it matures. 

Pink oyster mushrooms will colonize both grain spawn and substrates very quickly. 

Full colonization can often be expected within 7 – 10 days. Store between 23 – 28 degrees Celsius (73 – 85 F) for optimum colonization speeds.
